You will find many differing opinions on not only how to achieve success, but even on what success is. For some people success is financial bliss. For others, it is freedom. Yet others find success in health, family and friends. WHERE ARE YOU NOW? To achieve success that will last, you need to start right where you are. Take an inventory of your strengths and weaknesses. Where are you right now in every area of your life personally, professionally and spiritually? This is a moment of truth. Be honest with yourself about who you really are. YOUR PURPOSE Where are you spiritually? What do you consider worthwhile in life? If you're not sure, just look at where you invest your time, energy and money. Is your goal in life to search for meaning or to search for God who gives you meaning? 1. Do What You Love If you do what you love, you will be motivated and excited to make things work. You will put in the effort, hard work and determination. We all have our own natural gifts and abilities. Doing what you love simply means building on your gifts and talents and using them as a service for others. 2. Perfect Your Game Practice, practice and practice. When you were little, you didn’t get on a bicycle and instantly know how to ride it did you? No! You had to get on, fall off and try again until one day you realise that you are riding the bike without any help at all. This is the same in life. You may fall but as long as you get up and keep trying, eventually it will happen for you. 4. Believe in Yourself If you don’t believe in you no-one else will. That’s why it’s important to do something you love and are passion about. Others will naturally pick up on your enthusiasm – or lack of it. When the going gets tough – and it will, your faith in you is what will see you through. 5. Never Give Up Don’t ever give up on your path to success. There will be trials, disappointments, rejection, criticism, etc but that is life. It gives you the resilience to work even harder and to prove to everyone who doubted you that they were wrong. Let other peoples negativity be the reason you work even harder. If your path is not meant to be then believe me another one will present itself to you. It’s when you give up on your path totally that other doors become shut. Quitters never win and winners never quit. Now stop reading and do something now and take that first step towards achieving your own journey to success!
